1) How to play a prank on a friend:

• Download it to your computer
• Attach it to an email message (look under the file menu for something like Attach, then browse to where you put the file)
• If you have physical access to their computer then you can install and run it from a floppy (just copy the downloaded file to a floppy)

• If the prank starts with an 'i', then it is packaged in an 'installer', which just puts the prank and its dll where you specify.
  • using Windows Explorer (Start, Programs, Windows Explorer) go to the directory where you saved it
  • double click on the file you downloaded
  • set the Unzip To directory to where you want the actual prank and its dll to reside
  • click on Unzip and once it tells you it is done unzipping, click on Close
• If you put the prank in the Startup directory, it will run each time Windows is started
  • using Windows Explorer (Start, Programs, Windows Explorer) go to the directory where you put the prank
  • right click on the prank
  • select Create Shortcut
  • select the shortcut you just created
  • hit [ctrl][x] to cut it to the clipboard
  • right click on Start
  • select Explore
  • double click on Programs
  • double click on Startup
  • hit [ctrl][v] to copy the shortcut from the clipboard to the Startup directory

• using Windows Explorer (Start, Programs, Windows Explorer) go to the directory where you put the prank
• double click on the prank

• In Windows 3.x: hit [ctrl][esc] to bring up the Task Manager and use the arrow keys to move down to the prank, then hit [alt][e] to end the task.
  
  
• In Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000: hit [ctrl][alt][del] to bring up the Task Manager (NT/2000 click on the Processes tab in Task Manager to see all the tasks) and use the arrow keys to move down to the prank, then hit [alt][e] to end the task.

• Nice pranks will either put a button on the toolbar or a jack-in-the-box next to the time on the toolbar, just click it to make the prank stop.
• Mean pranks can be stopped using the Task Manager (see above).
