LizardWorks, Inc. is a software consulting corporation.  It was incorporated in January 1995.  The president and head programmer is Liz Marks.  The corporation got its name from a pun on the president's nickname (lizard).  Ms. Marks has been programming in the real world since 1985.   She started writing applications in Windows back in 1991.  The first screensaver she wrote was Mikey (now found on the animated icons page).  This program was written before screensavers were integrated in Windows.  The first prank she wrote back in 1986 was a DOS TSR that took over the keyboard (sorry, but it was lost over time).  Back in those days programmers were always writing little ditties to play pranks on each other.  Ms. Marks has tried to keep this tradition.
